BRIGADOON - 1994
This show brought the added bonus of the majority of the cast being able to speak in their native accent. The opening scene with the chorus singing offstage brought comments from some of the audience who actually thought it was a recording.
Brigadoon was the first production in which we introduced the "Do-be-do-be-do Award". This handsome trophy was originally presented to the person who most forgot their lines during the show. However, in subsequent years, the award has been given for various outstanding performances, including, the person who got ALL their lines right, the raven haired lady who decided that "blondes have more fun" and the memorable "Sit down you're rockin' the boat, and my flies undone"
