This was the first show that the society had repeated and as such was the cause of much debate within the group. Although there was some resistance to repeating a show, it was pointed out that in the intervening 16 years, the cast and crew had changed out of all recognition, indeed there were only 6 members of the original cast (George Ivison, Baxter & Kirsten Nisbet, Joan Campbell, and Gordon & Sheila McLeod) and one member of the crew (Anne Beckitt the choreographer) who were still involved with MAMSOC.
The show can safely be called a "fun" show with lots of comedy, sub-plots, confusion and the mandatory love story.
My own personal favourite memory of this one is taking the Francis Friar part and finally getting to change in the ladies dressing room on the Saturday night! It is amazing the things you see!!
